Capstone poster outline
Thesis Statement:
Child abuse has been happening all over the world to many young children but despite all efforts to control this growing problem, abuse is rapidly increasing and it is becoming harder to provide protection as kids grow scared to seek help. rather the victim of abuse or an outside authority aware of the abuse, it is important to seek proper help so nobody is at danger.
Topic Sentences:
1) There are many reasons why children do not seek help when being abused.
2) children who are abused at home find different securities than children who are abused outside of the home.
3) the rate of child abuse is increasing rapidly around the word with weak efforts to be built back up.
it is important to understand where this mass of abuse is coming from and what makes it so easy to keep kids quiet. connecting to them is key to building a level of trust, otherwise they will have no chance of seeking help.

Template Review
Title of template: Analogize
Colors used in Template: red, turquoise,brown, (blue, green, and yellow for graph)
Reasons:
1) the overall pattern looks simple but is actually complex where you can offer much imformation.
2) the colors all mesh well together (especially the bright red and turquoise).
3) the diagram offers several different places for statistics and graphs which is much needed for my specific topic.
Title of Template: Charity Doings
Colors used in Template: coral/red, green, tan, white
Reasons:
1) i like that only two main colors are used. it keeps it simple but still looks professional. too many colors can be too much and makes a poster too busy looking. you can loose the focus.
2) it offers a limited amount of space which can be good so you do not supply excessive information.
3) i like the simple symbol used at the top of the page rather than a big picture with text on it.

Colors used in Template: teal, green, orange, dark yellow, white
Reasons:
1) this template has a solid teal background color- draws attention
2)the orange, green and yellow all stand out on the teal color but make a good overall picture.
3) each section is divided by lightly colored dotted lines to keep everything organzied
